Minister Joyce Price

Joyce (Washington) Price has been a member of Believer's Fellowship Non-Denominational Church since 1984. She was ordained in 1993 by Pastor Vinson L. Williams. She serves as the Director and leader for "His Heirs" children’s choir, teaches the Primary Sunday School Class and is a member of the Praise Team. Her spiritual foundation began at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Gary, and she learned to love learning about God from her parents Mack and Jossie Washington as a child.

Minister Price has brought her “down to earth” spiritual message to numerous audiences and congregations in the Gary and Chicago areas. In her words, God has called her to be a teacher and a giver. Also, a gifted singer, she is a regular guest soloist at various churches.

A graduate of West Side High School, Minister Price received her BS degree in Secondary Education from Indiana State University. She received her MS in Secondary Education and Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Information Systems from Indiana University Northwest.

Minister Price is employed as a Systems Analyst for Mittal Steel USA, in East Chicago, Indiana. Prior to joining Mittal Steel, she taught mathematics for the Gary Public School System, Indiana University Northwest, and Ivy Tech Community College.

Minister Price is happily married to Wendell Price since May 2001. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Gamma Psi Omega Chapter and a life member of the NAACP.
