9/21/2007  - We encourage all of our children to stay in school, learn and get your education. We have two among us who went through some personal things in their senior year which caused them to be unable to march with their class this year and to even not graduate. Their spirits were dampened, but their families encouraged them to not throw in the towel.

They both pursued other means and obtained their GED General Educational Development in which the schools have in place for people as an alternative. Sure there’s nothing that can measure up or compare to one getting four years of High School Education and the special moments of their senior year. The enemy may have stole that from these two gifted young men of God, but God turned it around to work for their good.

We congratulate Dewayne and Marcus for pushing on when so many other young people gave up. Some young people quit and go to the streets. These young men didn’t, they continued on. I salute them for that if for no other reason.

Let us pray for them as they continue with their education and endeavors.
